For over two years, the MLC has grown as a space for organizing, education, creativity, and the struggle for a better world. With every meeting, study group, and art build, we built a vibrant community, and we are so grateful to all the volunteers and supporters who make it possible. As the movement for liberation has grown, so has our need for more space!

We relocated to the Lindsay Heights neighborhood on Milwaukee’s North side and have spent the last couple of months getting to know our neighbors while keeping up with the movement in the streets fighting back against Trump’s war on the people!

The reality is that we need funds to keep growing! In order to ensure we have full control of how that growth develops, we rely on our members, volunteers, and community allies to make regular financial and material donations, as well as sacrificing time to implement the programs we organize to build a more democratic future where workers – who produce all the value in society – determine how we distribute our resources. We build for a future where healthcare, housing, education, and food are basic guarantees.

With this fundraising campaign, we are looking to increase the accessibility of our new Milwaukee Liberation Center to ensure all people can call it their political and educational home. We set our goal at $3000 to cover already made improvements and purchases and those we are hoping to make in the future, and more!

• Wheelchair ramp (acquired!)
• Improved sound system, microphones (acquired!), and video equipment
• Grab bars for our bathroom (acquired!)
• Children’s activities and resources
• Chairs and tables
• Dehumidifier (acquired!) and air filtration
• Storage solutions for our movement materials
